french paintings

A native Kentuckian, no matter where I travel I love coming home to Kentucky. My mother said I was born under a wandering star, which explains my restlessness and love of seeing new places and people. My first trip to the south of France was on scholarship with the Cleveland Institute of Art. Since then I have returned each year in summer to paint. Among my favorite subjects are the vast fields of sunflowers, vineyards, and brilliant colors of the sun. I am drawn to the sites that Van Gogh, Matisse and Monet painted.
